#2 Sign the purchase agreement and lock in your price. Your sales manager will review each section of the agreement with you and explain our policies and procedures. They are highly trained and happy to answer any questions you may have.
#3 Put down a deposit. Many builders will require several deposits for options you add between signing and closing, but Pinnacle Homes only requires ONE deposit.
#4 Apply for a mortgage. Within 7 days of signing a purchase agreement, you must apply for a mortgage. Within 30 days, you must have a mortgage approval. We have several Preferred Lenders who can help you with this process. Click here to get more information on our Preferred Lenders.
#5 Submit building permit application. Our team will work with architects to submit building plans to the city or township. Once the permit is approved, we can begin construction.
#6 Select interior colors and options. This is the creative part! Within 45 days of signing a purchase agreement, you will meet with the sales team at our on-site color selection rooms to pick everything from flooring to countertops. We have hundreds of design selections so you can customize your home.
#7 Meet with the low volt company. You will contact the low volt company to specify cable and phone jack locations. You can also add other items like speakers, surround sound, security, and HDMI cables.
#8 Pre-construction meeting. Your project manager will review your selections, plot plans, warranty, orientation process, and building timeline with you. This meeting is meant to educate you on everything that goes into building your new home so you know exactly what to expect.
#9 Pick up building permit and start construction. From excavation to the final walk-through, our closing coordinator will keep you up to date on each step in the construction process.
#10 Pre-drywall meeting. This scheduled meeting with your project manager will allow you to see our quality building standards in action. You will walk the house inside and out, verifying each of your option selections prior to drywall installation.
#11 Pro-Home orientation. Once your home is complete, you will do a walk-through with a Pro-Home representative. They will address any questions you have prior to closing, as well as go over your warranty information.
#12 Close on your new home!
